Café the Plaza is located in the city center of Oranjestad. Café the Plaza is not only the perfect location to enjoy a meal or to have drinks, but it is also the perfect place to relax and read the newspaper or to have a swinging night out at the weekend.
Hans Nooter and Harry Koeman established Café the Plaza in October 1991. They chose the Seaport Market Place as their location in the heart of the city on the L.G. Smith Boulevard. During the 17 years since Café the Plaza opened, it has become a café with a Dutch/tropical atmosphere where both tourists and locals are among the clientel.
Café the Plaza also has a large patio area , which is great fun, for both lunch and in the evening. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone, from snacks, breakfast and lunch to a superb exclusive evening meal. The kitchen is open from 10 am until midnight.
