Our Story: 16 Years ⁄⁄ 13 Trips

Some friends recommended Aruba to us over 12 years ago. We knew as soon as we landed and we breathed in the Aruban air, we were going to love this place. The weather was spectacular and everyone was smiling. It was exactly the vibe we were looking for.

Since then, we've had a tradition of visiting once a year to disconnect from our busy lives, and refocus on one another. When we come to Aruba, we're inspired to turn off all the things that make our lives so busy at home. We love to relax on the beach, buy ourselves something special in Oranjestad, ride dune buggies, and take early morning walks on the beach.

When we visit, we love to eat at local restaurants because Aruban food is really fantastic. We've been to many other islands and places around the world…for us, Aruba is the one place that feels like home.

Some of our favorite places
A two-mile stretch of pristine beach where the sand leads right up to our hotels and resorts. The calm waters are perfect for swimming and the sunsets are ideal for evening strolls.
One of the greatest natural wonders in the Caribbean, this circle of rocks and volcanic stone has created a tranquil pool full of colorful sea life.
Pelicans at druif beach
An unspoiled, narrow stretch of white sand beach found just north of the capital city of Oranjestad. Druif Beach is an ideal spot for relaxing, sunning and unwinding.
Some of our favorite places to eat
Zeerover’s is friendly, rustic spot equally popular with locals and visitors. Sit right on the water as the fishermen bring the fresh fish right to the kitchen. Catch of the day? More like catch of the minute!
An Aruban gem on the heart of downtown Oranjestad. Local and visitors enjoy fresh fish prepared Aruban style with both creole and local fixins.
The Old Cunucu House is just a short stroll from the high-rise resorts and sits in an original Aruba-style house built more than 150 years ago. You experience fine dining, real Aruban hospitality and a little history too.
Some of our favorite activities
De Palm has been helping visitors discover Aruba for nearly 50 years. From scuba adventures to jeep tours, De Palm offers every island activity you could ever think of...and even a few you couldn't imagine.
An “adventure outfitter,” Red Sail sports will help you explore Aruba. Everything from Jeep rentals to snorkeling tours to sunset cruises.
A small, family-owned ranch takes guests of all ages on horseback along Aruba’s rugged coastline, dunes, and beautiful beaches. More than a trail ride, it’s a horseback adventure.
As often as we come to Aruba, you would think that we may get bored, but there's always something new and exciting going on here.
