I'm with you, Nathan. I mean, how many people on that board agreed that it was a great idea to offer a free trip to a football team??? They should all be replaced with people that actually have a brain. I mean, the island has enough problems... I wrote to the Hyatt to make sure that they're not a part of this and haven't heard anything in 3 days. This will really make me re think about going to another island.

I agree with chris, this is a PR nightmare, and you would be well served to rescue yourselves by putting together a free trip for not only servicemen and women, but also so many hardworking volunteers that spend every waking moment of their lives helping other people. I have some ideas and I could help put together a package, with Chris, and Aruba could be seen in an extremely bright light.

I amend my previous statement. I was wrong to suggest that I get a free trip. But if the Aruba Tourism thinks that the Patriots deserve a free trip because of hard work & dedication, how about having a lottery and give out 100+ free trips to the men that have given their lives in Iraq & Afghanistan as well as the wounded. THOSE men deserve it a lot more than a football team. C'mon Aruba....you need to come out and address this PR nightmare

I just read that the ATA is giving a paid vacation to Aruba to the Patriots. My last vacation was to Aruba and I have to say it was the best one I have had! But on my salary I have to save up for 5 years to afford it. The lowest paid man on their roster makes $390,000! I'm not saying that these men don't deserve their salaries, I am just saying that they can afford to pay their own way. Leave the free trips to the people like me that save up for YEARS to visit your island and appreciate it!

I cannot believe you are giving a free trip, all expenses paid, to the rich football players. That is so absurd on so many levels, what about customers like myself who have to save up for years to afford a trip?? Why not a break for me? That's just wrong.

I just read that you are offering a free trip to your island, to the ENTIRE New England football team. I can only say, as a frequent visitor to your island, I find this pretty insulting. These football players can MORE than afford a trip anywhere they choose. But, like many others, my husband & I work long & hard to be able to save up to travel to Aruba. How about the same offer to paying customers????
