sagman thank you for your kind words, they are greatly appreciated. Just this a.m. I am working on some photos I took late one afternoon when dh and I took a walk down the beach to the Divi. Whether it be the beach, dinner or an excursion, I rarely go anywhere in Aruba without my camera. This is a terrific way of preserving memories and the changes on the island. Or even just catching the moment when to the delight of everyone, the kid's club staff decides to jump in the pool with all their clothes on!
Taking a quantity of photos is just to insure I get that perfect shot. They do not cost anything to develop, only my time to review them all. Even at home when photographing backyard birds with my telephoto lens, I may take 100 photos and only 1 shot comes out perfect. Now with my nieces, nephew and dd, I would need to take 1000 pictures for just 1 photo where someone did not have their eyes closed, was not smiling or looking to the side.
