Sorry ArubaLisa, I don't have all the answers for you and I don't want to speculate either. I try to give a recap of what has been aired here in The Netherlands as factual as possible.
What I have learned from Dutch media so far is that the prosecutor's office has not yet filed a warrant for Joran's or Daury's arrest. The basis for that is still too small. Joran has not confessed a murder. He states that Natalee was already dead and that he has tried to dispose of her body with the help of his friend Daury. In a separate interview with Daury, published this morning, Daury from his side denies all connections with the case. So were do you stand as prosecutor?
The Aruban authorities have fired up the investigation again. The 'Joran tapes' certainly help them but I am not convinced that they will have enough for an arrest, let alone a conviction.
About his father having an inside track: I just don't know.
