We're in Aruba now (Jan 31- Feb 14)..........leaving today. My husband made our reservation thru AA..........he kept trying until he got the lowest rate, which was $250 pp. We tried to upgrade to business class on the flight down (using our miles) but were told we would have to have a rate of $300 to do so. Still, we were on standby and we were still on standby for our flight home today. Finally got notification yesterday that we've been upgraded to business class for the flight home.

So, just keep trying until you get the price you like. Amazing how it keeps changing.
