My husband and I just purchased some property in a new 42 lot housing development in Noord through Better Homes Aruba. We have been going to Aruba a few times a year since 1992 and own a few weeks of timeshare at the Marriott Ocean Club. We bought a 466 square meter piece of property and are taking the plunge building a house. The land is in Noord and will have a connector to the property right by the police station on the road where Linda's Pancakes is. The land was around $30,000 and you can build a house from $70,000 on up. A three bedroom ranch with two baths will run around $116,000 but then there are many add ons and upgrades.There are so many nice people on these boards that have helped answer our questions. The land is about a five to seven minute drive to the beach. Of course we would have loved to buy something on the water but our budget just can't afford it. We plan on going there for vacations and then spending more time as my husband retires. There are so many people on these boards that are so willing to give of their time to help people like us who would like to own a place on the island.

This just gives you an example of a house you could build but you can build anything. If you click on land you can see the streets. That is just Better Homes Aruba, there are obviously many more. There is a man from NJ building next to us at Terra Avilla. The land is clear and the streets are ready to be paved. Hope you find something. We'll let you know how it all works out.
