I have only been to Aruba for a day on a cruise, and my fiancee will be visiting for her first time in September. That being said, I have become addicted to this site as well! I just want to know every thing about this little island of paradise when we arrive in 169 days on our honeymoon. Reading the posts on this site makes me feel warm in the awful winter months of Pittsburgh, PA, which unfortunately includes March!
After we get married and start having little ones, they will be coming with us on trips, just like my parents did for me when I was younger. The family time is important, but there is a lot to be said for learning outside the bricks and mortar. In Aruba you can do star gazing, animal watching, learn about the tides, see sea life in it's element, and so much more. Other places throughout the world have so many learning points, too. Even traveling 33 miles from home can teach lessons you'll never see at home in school.
