Hello, it sounds like you had a great first time in sunny Aruba! That is all we can all ask for!! It is soooo too bad that you didn't get to go on the Jolly Pirate snorkel trip. My husband and I were there in August 07 for our honeymoon and took the day trip snorkeling. We loved it! I had been to Aruba before with my family and while sunning on the beach, watched the ship from the shore. So he and I decided to sign up for the trip. Although we were burnt to a crisp after, 6 hrs in the sun, open bar, good food, nice people and lots of fish, we really had a great time. That was great of the company to call and tell you that they were doing repairs prior to your arrival, also to give you your money back.
And if and when you go back to Aruba, and it does have that kind of hold on anyone that visits, you should DEFINATELY rebook.
