AS I discussed on an earlier thread, this happened to us. Our flight from Washington to Aruba on Dec. 17th was cancelled. All United flights were full and US AIR won't help because it was a cancelled United flight. I should state that we were using "points" and originating in another city to get to Washington.

It is all very well and good that the airline will refund your money BUT at this late date when travelling at Christmas time you are left with limited options in both price and travel dates. Booking early gets you good prices and the dates/times you want and then you are left to scramble!

Well, we were able to reroute our flight after spending, literally, 2 days trying to figure this one out and having to make 3 plane changes, we worked it out!
