nope i did not do it in layers
i did it in a tube pan

glad your dh's cake came oout nice
tell dd that i thought it was salty too even though i used no salt cashews
maybe i did too uch of a pinch of salt
probably could do without the pinch

i think i may make it this weekend
we are having friends from MA come up for a few days

Andrea, did you bake your cake in layers like Aruba Destiny? Dh is wondering if he needs to double the recipe to do layers.
