 We adults also thought that night that it was salty. Definitely do not add additional salt to the icing. Shh...between you and I, also think dh may have slipped. 
arubadebbi, let us know how the pumpkin soup is. Pumpkin season will soon be upon us.
I will post dh's crabcakes recipe tomorrow...yummy and very easy to throw together last minute.
