All hotels provide beach towels so I would definitely check that off my list. The good thing is summer clothes don't weigh as much as winter clothes. The main thing is not to over pack. I find that I wear shorts more than once as I'm in my bathing suit most of the day. I only bring one pair of sandels and use the hotel's toiletry products. I definitely bring sunscreen as it's expensive and I can't find the product I like. You should be allowed a carry on bag that you can put some heavier things in to lighten up your checked bag.
