Please check your credit car coverage for theft. Recently
had a friend who had their rented Yaris stolen - they had
used their amex card that did not cover theft. In the end -
they had to pay 10,000 AFLs to settle the case. Look
closely at the contract - most offer accident / stolen items
from the car - but not theft.
While your at it - check w/ your home insurance company
to see what they cover for theft.
