Harold & his wife started a Sunday BBQ at Hadicurari while still employed by the Bucaneer. When Marriot expanded they raised the rent for the Hadicuari location. Harold & Roxanne decided to open their own restaurant.
Have been to both Bucaneer & Wacky Wahoo recently, we don't see any similarity in the menu. Harold & Roxanne have their own boat & go fishing most every morning. Their catch of the day is just that.
Keep in mind there is 2 sides to every story. One reason Harold said to us for leaving the Bucaneer was he was not allowed to change the menu in any way.
