paul and i made a trip to jc penney:

i bought Kevin and Paul Columbia winter jackets ($69 each regular price $140)
bought kevin and paul some good warm socks for skiing and snowshoeing
bought a few fleece tops for myself
bought a down vest for myself

everything came $170 after sale prices and the $15 coupon figured in.

savings of $188

thanks lisa for the heads up
going back tonight to see if i can find a decent rolling daypack.
