In about 20 trips never had any unusual things happen(both ways) going through Security/Customs/Immigrations. Most of the times US Immigrations just slides our Passports through their PC reader and they just say thankyou. Guess being old they don't bother. Last trip noticed US Customs going through a group of young single guys baggage.

Don't wear jewely and watches going through Security as that will set off the alarm. Also even across the counter medicine may set the alarm off. I had a couple of pills in my shirt pocket that set the alarm off once.

I don't do that any more.
