We don't stay at the Bucuti but have friends who stay there every year so I'll update her on the new policy.
What a pain...I would never take my CC to the beach for drinks or lunch and I hate charging to the room all the time (we stay for 14+ days and it's hard to keep track of what you charged, etc.) We like to pay cash at the beach bar for drinks and lunch.
I also suppose this means that if we were to visit our friends at the Bucuti for happy hour we would have to bring our CC with us....or charge our drinks to their room (hmmmm...maybe I'm liking this idea after all!
