Just saw this thread - there was a story on the news in the States re malfunctioning luggage scales at the airport. It wasn't any one airline just overall. If you think about it - how often do they calibrate those things. Probably not often sof they're bound to be off. We have a scale here at Costa Linda in the exercise room and every Friday I see people weighing their luggage on it - wonder how accurate IT is?
