Yes they do have music on the planes. There is a variety of chanels you can choose from. It is only certain aircraft that has it though. If there is an onboard movie showing chances of having music are pretty good. Also there is a chanel that you can hear all the pilot talk. I think its pretty interesting to listen to even though I have no clue of the codes and what they are saying. LOL!
