Not much rain whatsoever. If you do have rain it will mainly be in the form of a passing 10 minutes shower or early morning shower.
Temperatures will be hot (sorry those below are in F. ) but there is a strong wind to make it tolerable. Please make sure you bring plenty of sunscreen. The sun is extremely strong.

Average windspeed 20 mph
July weather
Average high temperature 89 F.
Average low temperature 80 F.
Average temperature 83 F.
Average water temperature 82 F.
Average wind speed 19 mph
Average rainfall 1.20 inch (20.3 inches annual)

I was wondering if someone would not mind letting me know things that i should be aware of and not to do just to be on the safe side. We can i go during the day if i fancy going out of the hotel that i am staying at (Tamarijn) ?
|
Aruba is a very safe island. Use the same precautions you would at home. If you rent a car, lock your vehicle and keep valuables out of sight. Do not walk alone along dark stretches anywhere at night.

Also were can i go in the evening if i fancy a change ?
|
There are a number of large resorts with casinos at Palm Beach which is a short taxi ride away and would make for a nice diversion one night.
The Tamarijn does have nightly entertainment and you may also use the facilities and amenities next door sister resort the Divi, for a change of scenery. Here are the lists of activities for both resorts.

Also do i need to worry about mosquito's ? or any other bitting insects ?
|
Mossies are only a problem when there has been a lot of rain on the island. The island has been dry as of late. Some would say bug spray is not necessary. We take a travel size can of bug spray which I have yet to use, BUT you know if we left it home we would need it. Cheap insurance.
