My wife and I go twice a year for a week. We own 2 Marriott Surf Club Timeshare Units. Aruba is a great place out of the Hurricane zone. We always rent a car, especially since you are staying at the Marriott. It is about a $20 cab ride each way to downtown/airport. You can rent a car through Super Car Rental - $200 / week for a Toyota Corrolla. It allows you to go anywhere anytime.
