We shop at Lings. You can check in on any days but Mon-Thursday are faster and easier check in days. Grocery store, if memory serves me, is open until 7 or 8pm. Getting a pool chair is not terrible in March but I do strongly recommend that you go down at 7:30am and get your "spot" and then go back up for breakfast, etc. Make sure you do not leave your lounge chair unattended past the two hour mark. What we usually do is go into town for shopping in the late afternoon. We get our chair and then spend most of the day at the beach and then leave in the afternoon for shopping or whatever.
Depending on your check in etc. You may just decide to go and get the food over with asap and then the full next day you can relax!
