I'm going to try to address everything you asked but if I forget something, just ask me again. :-)

As for the Marriott Stellaris Casino and Resort....I think it's a fabulous resort! This was my 6th year in a row there and so it was an easy decision for us where we wanted to get married. There are three buildings in the resort...The Marriott Hotel & Stellaris Casino (newly renovated and where the weddings take place), The Ocean Club (1 & 2 bedroom condos), & The Surf Club (the newest building with a lazy river, etc which also has 1, 2, 3 bedroom condos). My parents own a timeshare in the Surf Club and we love it. All of our guests stayed in the Surf Club so it worked out great & was a blast!

I didn't even think about the beach being crowded so I wouldn't worry about that. We did have some people around but most were just observing the wedding and the others I didn't even notice. We did have a guy take pictures from the water and he gave us his business card and we emailed him and got the pics! Ha!!

As for the time of year...we chose May because we went in May the 2 years prior to this year and loved it because it's the slow season. Kids aren't out of school yet, etc. When we decided on the destination wedding in Aruba, we knew it would have to be May...just because it's our fave.

We got engaged the weekend after we got back from Aruba last year so we didn't get to think about anything or take care of anything while actually in Aruba. It is hard sometimes doing the email thing, but it all worked out. It all came together! We did a lot of searching on the photographers on the island, as well as the bands before we made our decisions. I did not have a lot of luck with the bands, which is why we decided to go with the DJ that the Marriott hires. I'm sooo happy we did....they were awesome!!

The weather in May is perfect! It didn't rain at all and we were there for 8 days.... Beautiful!
