Contacting Betto Christiaan's Civil Registrar

I am so glad you were able to get a hold of Mr. Christian's as he is very difficult to get a hold of. Besides performing civil wedding ceremonies, he has huge responsibilities that include reviewing wedding documents, birth, death and divorce documents as well as other Aruba civil matters. You were one of the lucky one's that finally got to make contact with him. To the best of my knowlege he still does not have voicemail and if you call the civil house directly, there is a good chance he will not be at his desk. I have had couples send FedEx packages and not get a response from him or fax him copies of their documents and still not get a response. With the many civil marriages that take place in Aruba, sometimes it takes a while for him to reply in a timely manner. To those of you planning a civil ceremony in Aruba, copies of your documents are due one month before your wedding date for review. Original documents should be brought with you to Aruba in the brides handbag. On the day of the your civil ceremony, you will bring your original documents with you for review before the ceremony is performed. Do not send original documents because there is always the posibility of them getting lost which would be very difficult to replace. Best of luck on your wedding day day and have a wonderful time on your honeymoon in Aruba
