I did 2 trips alone a few years back. It was hard for me. I was anticipating meeting up with any single female, but that didn't happen. Looking back I was not in a good frame of mind. I guess you could say I was pathetic. I was suddenly single after 19 years of marriage. I met a lot of nice people though, all couples. The newlyweds I met once they found out I was going through divorce, avoided me like the plague. I can laugh about it now. The other couples I met, some I still keep in touch with. It's a Happy Isalnd for me now but watching postcard sunsets alone every night was very depressing. I'd still do it again though. Good luck
