My wife and I will arrive 03 October from the Detroit area for a week stay at the Marriott Ocean Club, any issues with the resort and it's renovations/pool? Our first time to Aruba was 9 years ago with a group of 86 fellow boaters, so much of our intinerary was pre-planned. We like just about anything that has to do with water, except my wife doesn't eat seafood. We would like to have a couple of mornings of scuba diving, probably an afternoon aboard some type of booze cruise and will rent a vehicle to explore many of the other beach's with a cooler, fins and snorkel. Are there any uninhibitated outer islands to check out? We wouldn't mind renting a small boat to go out and explore. Looking over some of the posting, it appears there are a number of great restuarants in the area of the Marriott. Nothing wrong with children, but we are traveling without any and will prefer activities targeted towards adults. If anybody has any recommendations or suggestions towards our intrest, please let me know. 7 more days of work, yes some of us still have jobs in Detroit, and 10 more days until one happy island.
