i have used priceline 5 or 6 times.
it was for PRE or POST timeshare weeks.
each time i got the place for about 50% less than the advertised rate.
i made certain i clicked RESORT.
i have never paid more than $100 per night.
and a few times we got $60 per night.
these are the places that we "won" over the last few years.
Renaissance Marina.
Marriott Stellaris
The Aruba Grand (prior to the RIU)
Holiday Inn/sunspree
so yes, at least one of us here have tried it and like it.
