A few of the top of my head are can you bring food with you (we will be in a time share condo) or would we be better off going to the grochery store.(we are a family of 4 with a teenage son who seems to eat every thing in sight and eating out every meal would cost more than the entire vacaLOL)

Personal opinion...depends on what you are comparing it to....
Worth it? Yes. The best in the Caribbean? No.
Imo, for the best shore snorkeling Boca Catalina/Catalina Cove. I just wrote about it here http://www.arubabound.com/dive/snorkeling.htm
http://www.arubabound.com/dive/snorkel_photos.htm a few photos taken with a new housing, I pretty had no clue what I was doing with. I thought the Trunkfish and Pompano were pretty cool.
Others prefer Baby Beach.

Should we worry about sharks?

They are an ocean creature. They are there.
BUT, in 18 trips to Aruba, 25+ dives and 6+ snorkel trips, have never seen one, even down to 100+ feet.
