Do we have to worry about any rip currents?
For the most part no. There are no currents off of Palm Beach or waves either.

If you are staying along Druif Beach or Eagle Beach, there can sometimes be currents.
There can sometimes be waves.
Sometimes the water can be like a lake.

RARELY will you find rip currents on the western side of the island, the only exception being an occassional storm. Rare indeed.

EVERYDAY, along the Eastern coastline you will find waves, currents and rips. Not to mention submerged coral and rocks.
