Thanks to all....

Really at peace with the outcome...having enough stress with the eye, never mind stressing over what should be an enjoyable vacation.

Already planning....going to stay at Renaissance using a timeshare week Dec 11-18. Will consider trying something on Eagle or Palm Beach (where we have never stayed) for the last two nights.....Dec 19-20.

Another Dr visit today....all in all doing quite well. The eye will be very functional....a far cry from a week ago.
