The new area outside is as the airport states will be open in Feb. but looking at it today, I think its more of a hope for them. Its only going to be outside there is no entry from inside. So if you want to eat or shop there you need to allow enough time to clear Aruba Imm., security checkpoint, US Customs, and security checkpoint again before the gates. There is talks of putting a "local" resturant there serving real local dishes along with a bar and store. It looks good so far.
