Jerseygirl, I believe the rash of burglaries happened last Fall (2009). Since then, it's been pretty quiet. I bought a place in Dec 2009 and, knock on wood, have had no issues. Don't let a few bad apples spoil it for you. I couldn't be happier with my decision.

Kjargaard- I use Rhodanna and have been very pleased with them so far. Had a cpl times when the alarm went off and they had someone there in 5 minutes (which for Aruba, is amazing). Liz might be able to add to the dialogue.
