You will need cash for cabs, bus fare and other incidentals, credit card (Visa, MC, etc.) are fine for paying at restaurants, bars, stores, hotel bill, etc. You also need cash for casino play but they will take Traveler's Checks and there are ATMs available. Just about the same way you pay for things here in the states.
