Don't know where you are staying, but the best info I got off this board before we went this summer, was to pack the bathing suits and suntan lotions in my carry on. Our plane landed around 11:00 a.m. and check in wasn't until 4:00p.m. We happened to get lucky and checked in earlier, because we took a walk to see where our room was and saw that they were finishing with the cleaning. Had a fabulous time. Also we rented a cell phone from Arubafastphones. Terrific people to work with. Service to the states was good.
