This was our third trip to Aruba, four of us including one teen. The Mill is a wonderful, quiet resort. The buildings surround the two pools which reduces the wind at poolside. The rooms were clean and well maintained; we had a three room suite on the second floor overlooking the pool.

The beach is a short walk away (<5min) and is very pretty, clean and clear water. There is an attendant from the hotel at the beach with towels and basic refreshments. I highly recommend snorkeling right off the beach, there are two rocky reefs with beautiful tropical fish. The service was excellent with two exceptions (slow waitress).

Housecleaning did a great job, and the bartender Rosa was fantastic. De Palm tours has a desk onsite as does Thrifty Car Rental. I strongly suggest you consider a taxi to and from the airport as De Palm was unable to get a "scheduled" bus (we confirmed our travel 24 hours prior) to our hotel in a 50 minute timeframe for our prepaid transfer back to the airport, and for US citizens you clear local Immigration and Customs as well as US Immigration and Customs before you board your plane home. You do not want to be late getting to the airport.
Would I consider the Mill Resort again? Absolutely. I think it would be especially accommodating for families with young children (0-12).
