we have stayed at the tamarijn numerous times when our son was younger (in middle and high schools). when we stayed at the tamarijn, there was never a shortage of kids for him to hang with.

they were well behaved and had a blast drinking their virgin miami vices, riding the golf cart shuttles from the divi to the tam and eating themselves silly from morning to the wee hours.

during the days they spent time together at the pool and the beach and did things like learning to windsurf..............my son had to be rescued (or steered back to the tamarijn as he was way up near the costa linda) the poor man in the watersports dept was kept on his toes that week!!! he earned some great tips from the families of the windsurfers!! the days were a blast for the kids.

the food is pretty good. certainly not 5 star but very palatable and quite good. we loved paparazzi restaurant and red parrot. breakfasts and lunches were ok dinner buffet was just ok, not bad at all.

drinks, although not top shelf were excellent.

the rooms are clean, not real spacious, but very comfortable and more than adequate.

the tamarijn is more family friendly than the divi aruba beach resort.
divi aruba beach resort has more couples, honeymooners, seniors and not as many families as the tam.

OR

you may want to look at renting a few timeshare units at lacabana BRC or Villas. Financially..............you may do better renting timeshares.
BUT, and the big but is.................if you go with renting timeshares, meals and beverages become a huge issue/headache/wallet emptier.

lacabana brc does offer all inclusive but it is pricey...............you are probably better off at the tam.
Thank you for the info. I am pretty sure this is where I will be staying. I don't want to have to pay for food while staying in a timeshare. We just came back from Hawaii, and rented a condo, Wow food is expensive, will not go that route again..I want all inclusive so I can just pay for extras..

thanks,
Ann
