I don't think it's dangerous at all the hurricain will pass well north of the island. The only thing you may have to concern your self with will be possible scattered showers and intermittent wind gusts today friday through tomorrow. I would not go para sailing until sunday, years back I was in cancun and watched a person get caught up in a squal and the boat operators could not get the shoot down due to an up draft.
