Where did you read it? I'm not doubting it at all, please don't take my question that way. I do know that there are people out there, unfortunately, that like to start trouble and mayhem on message boards by pumping up crime incidents.

That's terrible, and I haven't heard of that happening in Aruba recently (not to stay it hasn't or doesn't on occasion). I have heard that many resorts have security walking around at night, knocking on doors on the ground level if guest's sliders are not properly locked.

I will say that now that it has happened at the Tam, you can bet they will be doing everything and more in their power to make sure it doesn't happen again. They don't need that type of bad publicity.
