everyone , no mater where they are staying, should always make sure that their doors are locked and their valuables are stowed and locked in the room's safe....(passports, $$, credit cards, i-pods, cameras etc..)

every so often one hears of room robberies and often times it is proven that the thief gained access through an open slider, or thru an unlocked door. also too sometimes folks do not put stuff away and locked.

we do have to do our job of locking up.
it makes the thief's job harder.

at the tamarijn, we have always loved the 1st floor and have never had a problem. we have stayed in the 1500 or higher numbered blocks of rooms.

my big gripe at the resorts..............not only the tamarijn, is that sometimes the housekeeper opens and unlocks 2 rooms at a time.....while she is in cleaning one room, the other room is left unlocked and unattended. i have seen it happen time and time again at the Paradise Beach Villas, lacabana brc and villas and also at costa linda.
