Our flights are booked for February, and one thought is to wait and see if the schedule changes again giving us a more reasonable layover. As janlel indicated, schedules often change several times before the actual flight.
However, in order to save myself more indigestion, I may take the suggestion of daka630 and call AA to see if they will switch us to the non-stop out of Boston without a fee. I dread the thought of spending a full day of travel in each direction just to fly what should be a 4-1/2 hour flight!!
