I am watching this board as much as possible but I feel that as members of this board members YOU should post before I do. This is your Community Forum and I don't want to hog the board. I like to see responses from other members. If I see that a question (post) is not responded to (and I have the answer), I will answer. But I wait until I feel it necessary to post. I "try" to wait too, but sometimes my fingers get the better of me....well, most times they get the better of me.

Maybe Andrea, our Senior Moderator on this board may disagree with me but I think we can get overwhelmed with alot more topic's. There has been a discussion from some members for more categories. My personal opinion is that that we have enough except for (what I call it) "Everything Else".
I think that we do need an "everything else category" where folks can get to know one another as we can talk about things NOT related to aruba. It would be easy to moderate as we do not have to be so diligent about deleting and banning. It'd be a category that we can moderate with not as much emphasis on rushing...........because our first job is the aruba related topics.

i too have emailed and pm'd the ata administrators asking for more categories (everything else, weather, airlines/fares)

my swim teams........they are practicing for a dual meet this weekend vs. nashua. our 8 and unders and 10 and unders are weak but we do have numbers! our 11 and 12s and 13 and 14's are strong. our varsity is still playing soccer, field hockey and lacrosse so may miss this particular meet. typically our varsity age 18 and unders are the power house kids.

got a message from a friend in la jolla, ca. she is 3o miles from the firestorms. she and family are safe but their city is very smoky.................so smokey in fact her smoke detectors are going off if she keeps her window opened.

hate to use the word hurricane/tropical storm but that is just what georgia needs now. a slow moving tropical storm that rains on the southland for a week!

why do we (the usa) continue to %$tch and moan about water issues when we can be taking the technology from israel and aruba and build many many water desalinization plants? isn't it about time we have become proactive and start using our technologies? (wind power, solar power, desalinaiztion plants?) not to mention employment opportunities.

now time for more coffee.
