1/2 day snorkelling trips -

Hi all,

I'm coming to Aruba for Christmas and I've just heard that my 1/2 day snorkelling trip has been cancelled (at De Palm Island). If I just turn up at Boca Catalina, kind I hire gear and just get on with it?

I'm arriving by cruise ship, a big one, and won't have a car.

hope you can advise, I can't wait!!

No, you can't just show up at boca catalina and rent stuff if that is what you are asking. DOn't know what kind of time frame you have but Depalm has a seperate boat called the Palm Pleasure that goes out from 2-5 for a 2 snorkle stops. there are other boats out there, but I personally recommend that PalmPleasure. You can view my pics in the gallery as there are several of the boat.

On Christmas day you may have some issues finding an operator that is working. If you can hook up for the palm pleasure cruise, do so. I've enjoyed every one of the trips I've done with them.

OK, thanks to you both. I'm sure I'll sort something and will look into the Palm Pleasure. Have just one whole day free so want to make most of it.

Cheers,

Dops

Jolly Pirates is sailing Christmas day, but I understand they have extremely limited availability due to cruise ship commitments.

Try www.aquawindies.com. Great private snorkel trips with guide. Surprisingly reasonable at $17.50 per hour, minimum 2 people. Three hour trip is plenty. Took trip to Mango Halta. It was fantastic. E mail Windie to set up. She is a wonderful person. Ask for her son as your guide.
