Traveling to Aruba with 2 girlfriends in Oct. We are curious to see if there are any day trips that you can take to Venezuela while staying on the Island, or if we should even entertain the idea any further. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you!

Rent a car for 1 day & explore on your own, so much to see safely, The north side of the island is assume, you start with California Lighthouse, Alto Vista, Gold Mine Ruins, Baby Beach(a great place to snorkel, bring bagels to hand feed the fish and snorkel where the water changes color, don't go outside the breakwater strong current. Then stop at Charlie's Bar in San Nickolas for a cold one est. 1941, this can all be done in 4 to 8 hours just depends on you. Oh by the way DO NOT drive in the white sand or you may get stuck!!

Venezuela
Dicolaj, I agree with everyone else. I would never go to Venezuela. My husband went on a cruise years ago and that was one of the stops. When they got off the ship there were men with weapons standing there. There are plenty of things to do in Aruba. This will be my 4th trip there and I still haven't seen everything. We are also going to be in Aruba during the 10th-17th of Oct. Myself and 2 friends. No husbands this trip.
Where are you staying? Have a great time.
