the renaissance has a private island about a mile off the coast that you can access by motorboat if you're staying at the renaissance marina or ocean suites hotel..or if you want to pay $75 for the day you can get a pass to the island that lets you use the facilities over there for the day and it comes with a lunch and a drink..

My wife had an excellent massage their last week. If you are staying at the Marriott their card has a 20% discount that more than covers the service charge that they all seem to add.

That's great news. We're staying there in Aug and I was planning to set up a day at the Spa.

When I called, they said they didn't book this far ahead for Spa appts and I'd need to call back in mid-July. I was surprised because I figure they must have weddings and stuff booked this far out. Does anyone know if this info. is correct?

My wife called at about 2Pm and got a 3:30Pm appointment on that day. August should be a little busier, but not too bad.
