ATV or Jeep Tours

Anyone been on both ATV Tours, and the Jeep Tours? In your opinion which of the two are better, or are they both just as fun as the other? Definitly want to do one of the two and just curious which one we should do!

i would rent my own jeep, and tour the island. really don't trust renting atv's based on safety.

IMO they are two different experiences. In our early visits to the island, we really enjoyed the Jeep tours with ABC - exciting, informative, and a barrel of laughs - definitely a must-do for those who want to see the island with some adventure.

When we have guests at our place on the island, I now tend to rent ATVs from George's and that is a very different adventure - we do the tour from the lighthouse across the north coast and see all the places of interest along the way - we usually end up in San Nicholas for a beer at Charlies . . . then motor up to Savaneta for a beer and to pick up our fresh fish for dinner at Zeerover.

I hope this helps you decide which adventure suits you better!
