Best place to snorkel for non-swimmer

Hello everyone,

Do you have recommendations re: where to snorkel if you're a non-swimmer? I was thinking Baby Beach?

baby beach is good providing one stays within the breakwater, where one can remain standing.

then again, a nonswimmer should do some practicing in the pool too with and without snorkel equipment.

You will find floating in salt water easier than you think and baby beach is the best place for people that aren't all that comfortable in the water.

also too, avoid baby beach on the weekends and aruban holidays.
the place is very crowded with residents then.

Would Baby Beach be perfect for someone that hates to put their face in the water for the fear of a fish hitting them in the face?? My cousin is terrified that this will happen!!

i can tell you with most certainty a fish will not hit anyone in the face while swimming in aruba.

Only time I ever had that happen is when the mate on a trip in the Bahamas threw half a loaf of bread around me on my way back to the boat. I think I had a couple fish inside my mask after that.

What about the Natural Pool? I am also a non-swimmer but want to experience being surrounded by colorful creatures underwater. Is the Natural Pool a good place to start?
