I plan on taking the kids here this year and suggestions or reccomendations? Is there a shuttle service from the hotles or just take a taxi?

Book with De Palm tours and they will take you there. http://reservations.aruba.com/servlet/aruba.QS

If you want to stay longer or shorter than their tour times, then take a taxi. Not sure of taxi rate, I would approximate $20 each day. Or rent a car for the day for about the same as a taxi.

Thanks Liz! Is that what the car rentals run about $20 per day. I was thinking of getting one this year, we spens so much in taxis every year I figured it would probably be cheaper to rent. But then I wouldn't be able to have some wine or cocktails with my dinner.

My son Chase is 2 and my daughter Rayna is 4. Why would they be bored there after 6 years old?

In addition, I do not know which water parks, if any, you frequent at home, but this one is on the small side.

Well folks, I compare that to the Disney, Water Wizz, and Water Country here which are huge, so depalm island water park is TINY.....Maybe others haven't been to a water park so this might seem like a great place....everyone has their opinions, for the $$$ its not so great IMOP

the depalm water park was designed primarily for kids under age 10.
i pretty much agree with cindyo, but do think that those with little kids may enjoy a day there.
the price is not cheap.

that being said, i cannot imagine that any waterpark on aruba, (blue parrot or morgans island) will be a hit. so, many families spend big money to stay at a nice resort with a great beach and awesome pools........why would they want to spend additional $$ to go to a water park?
*disclosure* my son is now 22. if he were 6 or 7 and begged us to take him to blue parrot while in aruba, we probably would do so.
