Bone fish are a type of fish. From what I hear, very "frisky" and a challenge to catch. Very prevalent in the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos I know.

Flyfishing

Bonefish is the most exiting fish for sport fishers. It is almost only caught by Fly fishing. Once it hits the fly it shoots out like a bullet from a gun. That's why people fly half way around the globe to fight them.
Aruba is definitely not THE best place for Bone fishing, but they are there, but not in numbers like i.e. the Bahamas, but being in a paradise like Aruba with even a small chance of getting them are well .... paradise.
I am coming in 2 weeks from Sweden and will spend lots of days trying to find them the 9 days we are there, the family will hit the beach, and I will hit the flats. Cant wait.

Bone fish is so boney, you have no meat to eat. You do it for the sport. Bone fish is the most fighting fish out there. On Bonaire, guys will pay $500 to hook up with a bone fish. I see them when I snorkle on Bonaire. They are a grey, ugly looking fish. I'd rather caught a wahoo and then eat it. Ha! Ha! Kent

I tried to post a pic of my wahoo but I had no luck. I guess I need a lesson in shrinking pics so I can post them. Kent
