We returned from Aruba last Tuesday evening. We got to the airport 3 hours earlier and all went smoothly with check in, security, customs. Much to our surprise, there was a small room just outside the luggage room with slot machines LOL. Can you imagine? Real tempting, but my husband did not want to leave our luggage unattended, so much to my dismay, we passed the slot machines. When we reached our Continental Gate 4, low and behold, another slot machine room. Still, my husband just wanted to relax and wait for our flight to board. But, for those that still want their last chance to win the jackpot, before leaving Aruba, the slots are there for you

I wonder what the odds are. Wouldn't it be cool to hit big on a machine and be able to turn around and enjoy more time in paradise? Yes, I know, wishful thinking.

I have to agree with Purpleangel, would be oh so sweet.

Karen, loved your pics , what a way to celebrate, as someone else wrote, its wonderful to be there with the love of your life, in your case, family and friends also, congrats again.

We were quite surprized in Dec to see the little casino there. We also would have popped in but the thought of the luggage on the other side was calling us.

are the slots new or used ones? is it paper based payouts? approx how many machines do they have?

Not sure if the machines are new or not. I would think so. Wondering what casino is in charge of them. Paper payouts would be frustrating if there was no cashier. Honestly, I should have gotten up while waiting at the gate to peek inside. Andrea, guess when you return, you can have the honors of reporting back or anyone else that is on the island now. Actually, I do not recommend going into the casino room just outside the luggage room. Especially on a Saturday LOL!
